CHARACTERS / SPECIAL PROGRAMME OF FIRST YEAR

This 4-week course, held at the end of the first-year program, will help you discover your own character. We will learn how to develop and follow that character to create a theatre piece.

We’ll have four weeks to discover which characters their desire carries them towards, and to discover that playing means giving what the audience needs in order to continue dreaming about the character, not an ounce more than this. An ounce more would break the charm and everything would fall back onto the ground again in reality, in a thousand pieces.

*In order to be considered for this course, students must have completed at least 200 hours of the first year program including “LE JEU” and “CLOWNS” both 4weeks in the first year program.

CLOWNS/ SPECIAL PROGRAMME OF SECOND YEAR

This course focuses on the subject of CLOWN during 10 weeks. We will explore the world of CLOWNS and create a show at the end of the course. The final week will involve presenting the show to a real audience.

Application Process:

Please send an email to administration office. Your admission will be decided by a panel of teachers. If you are accepted into the course, you will receive an acceptance letter. Upon receiving the acceptance letter, please pay a deposit of 100 euros to complete your reservation in 2 weeks and complete the booking process.

Please note that this class will be cancelled if there are fewer than 15 applicants. This decision will be made at least two months before classes begin.

In order to be considered for this course, students must have completed at least 350 hours of the first year program including “LE JEU” and “CLOWNS” both 4weeks in the first year program. LE JEU = GAME  is the most important basic lesson from Ecole Philippe Gaulier.  Those who have completed the entire first year ( 450 hours) will receive a 300 euro reduction for ” CLOWNS”.
